The Institute has so far conducted 150 research projects, dealing with the most diverse areas of individual and collective employment relations, health, disability and pension insurance, unemployment insurance, employment, social protection, health and safety at work, inspecting work, housing relationships, respect for fundamental human rights, labour and social security.

Research projects have historically been the most frequently performed in the framework of a national research program, but especially in recent times the Institute also performs research for a specific client. Research work is carried out by collaborators of the Institue.
